Did an ‘aunty’ thing a few weekends ago – wanted an Ikura Don but @sushiteisg didn’t have it so I ordered Ikura on its own and a bowl of sushi rice – all for $10 😬 and because we also ordered fried salmon skin as an appetiser, I made my own Salmon Oyako Don. @ryanforeveryang was pretty proud of me cos I saved money 😊 And I used our homegrown spring onions!
And did you know that ‘oyako’ 親子 means parent and child?! Messed up but is nevertheless true.
