Bitten by the Black Brownie bug lately? Many of my friends have – which got me curious and thankfully my baker-on-a-whole-other-level cousin @refinerie chanced upon @buttermilkpantry ‘s version for it and inspired me to give it a go.
I know I say this a lot but this was REALLY easy to make – all in one bowl (my favourite type of recipe). 30 mins start to finish – half the time was baking!

Oh and @refinerie had this tip for me: I didn’t have espresso or instant coffee powder on hand so she suggested to extract an espresso from a Nespresso capsule and omit the water in the recipe 😉
